Sreeleela marked Krishna Ashtami with a beautiful tribute to Lord Krishna. The actress shared a glimpse of her childhood Bharatanatyam performance with her followers on social media.

In the video, Sreeleela can be seen dressed in a traditional Bharatanatyam costume. She is seen wearing elaborate jewellery and traditional makeup, while flowers can be seen adorning her hair. Sharing the video, Sreeleela simply wrote, “Happy Krishna Ashtami!”The video also gave fans a glimpse of Sreeleela’s connection with classical dance. For the uninitiated, the actress is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and has been connected to the dance form since her childhood.
Sreeleela’s film career
Speaking of her work, Sreeleela began her film career in Kannada cinema with ‘Kiss’ in 2019. She later appeared in films including ‘Bharaate’, ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’, ‘Guntur Kaaram’. Sreeleela has become one of the popular young actresses in South Indian cinema and has worked with several leading actors.She rose to pan-India fame with her special appearance in the Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ song ‘Kissik’.She was last seen in the Pawan Kalyan-starrer cop action drama ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’. The film also features Raashii Khanna and is directed by Harish Shankar.She also has ‘Om Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood’ in her upcoming projects.
Sreeleela’s Bollywood debut
Meanwhile, Sreeleela is set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Kartik Aaryan in filmmaker Anurag Basu’s upcoming romantic film, now titled ‘Tu Meri Zindagi Hai’ after it was earlier rumoured to be called, ‘Aashiqui 3’.The project marks the first on-screen pairing of Sreeleela and Kartik Aaryan.The film is reportedly scheduled for a theatrical release later this year.
