The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the schedule for the Stenographer Grade C and D Tier-I examination 2026. The exam will now be held from September 9 to 12, instead of the earlier schedule of September 9 to 15.The commission has also released details about the exam city slip on its official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates can check the details through the candidate login portal.

According to the latest SSC notice, the Stenographer Grade C and D examination 2026 will be conducted from September 9 to 12.Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held from September 9 to 15. Candidates should check their exam city details and plan accordingly.
SSC Stenographer Grade C, D admit card 2026
The admit card, referred to as the admission certificate by the commission, is expected to be available for download two or three days before the respective exam date.Candidates will be able to download their admission certificates through the designated login module on the SSC website.Candidates should keep checking the official website for updates and download their admit cards as soon as they are made available.
SSC Stenographer exam 2026: Scribe facility
SSC has also issued instructions for candidates who are using the Own Scribe facility for the Stenographer Grade C and D Tier-I examination 2026.The commission has said that earlier scribe registrations made before November 5, 2025, have been disposed of. Candidates who want to register a scribe must complete a fresh registration on the SSC website.The scribe registration process has now been linked with Aadhaar authentication. Therefore, candidates who want to enrol a scribe, as well as those appearing as scribes, must complete fresh registration on the commission’s website.Candidates using their own scribe will also have to submit the scribe’s registration number to generate the entry pass.
SSC Stenographer Grade C, D exam 2026: Scribe mapping deadline
Candidates who have opted for the Own Scribe facility must map their scribe’s One-Time Registration (OTR) within the prescribed deadline.For the Combined Hindi Translator Examination 2026 Tier-I, the scribe can be mapped until September 6.For the Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2026 Tier-I, the deadline for scribe mapping is September 7.The scribe entry pass will be generated only for candidates who successfully map their scribe’s OTR.Candidates are advised to carefully follow the latest SSC instructions and complete the required scribe-related process within the given deadline.
