Stock market live today: Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex

UltraTech Cement is leading the gains on BSE Sensex, rising 2.57%, as of 10:55 am. This was followed by Eternal, which advanced 2.12% while Bajaj Finance gained 1.84%. IndiGo and State Bank of India also climbed 1.66% and 1.63%, respectively.

Axis Bank, Asian Paints and ICICI Bank also traded firmly in positive territory, gaining between 1.2% and 1.4%.Other stocks trading in the green included HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, Sun Pharma, ITC, Adani Ports, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HCLTech, Titan, Bajaj Finserv, BEL, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bharti Airtel, Maruti Suzuki, Trent and Tata Steel, posting gains ranging from 0.03% to 1.05%.

On the flip side, Infosys was the top laggard, declining 1.24%, followed by Power Grid Corporation, which fell 1.08%. TCS traded 0.58% lower, while Hindustan Unilever and Larsen & Toubro slipped 0.49% and 0.34%, respectively.Tech Mahindra and NTPC also remained under pressure, easing 0.18% and 0.09%, respectively, as a handful of heavyweight stocks traded in the red even as the broader market maintained a positive bias.
