UPPSC PCS registration deadline extended: Check new dates to submit application here
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has revised the UPPSC PCS 2026 registration schedule, extending the application and fee payment deadline to August 3. Candidates will be able to edit their submitted forms until August 10. The extension offers another chance to eligible aspirants to complete the application process before the Preliminary Examination scheduled for December 6, 2026.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has extended the deadline of the Uttar Pradesh Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services Preliminary examinations. The candidates can now submit their applications till August 3, 2026. The revised schedule provides another opportunity for civil services aspirants to submit their applications for one of Uttar Pradesh’s most competitive recruitment examinations. The registration process was originally scheduled to conclude on July 27, while the application correction facility was available until August 3. Following the extension, both the submission of online applications and payment of the examination fee can now be completed until August 3, while the correction window has also been extended to August 10.Candidates who have not yet completed their applications can register through the official UPPSC portal after furnishing the required personal, educational and other relevant details, along with payment of the prescribed application fee.The commission has clarified that the extension is intended to ensure that eligible candidates who missed the earlier deadline are not deprived of the opportunity to participate in the recruitment process.

UPPSC PCS exam 2026: Application fees

Applicants are required to pay the prescribed examination fee according to their category while completing the online registration process. The application fee is Rs 125 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC and EWS categories, Rs 65 for SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen applicants, and Rs 25 for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
