Suriya and Mamitha Baiju’s ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ continued its run at the box office on Wednesday. The film recorded a lower collection on its sixth day. According to Sacnilk, the Suriya starrer earned Rs 5.10 crore in India net on Day 6.The collection marked a 19.7% decline from the Rs 6.35 crore earned on Day 5. The movie had recorded Rs 6.35 crore on Tuesday. It registered 5,093 shows across India on Wednesday.‘Vishwanath and Sons’ has collected Rs 77.40 crore in India net. ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ worldwide collection
The Suriya and Mamitha Baiju starrer added around Rs 1 crore from overseas markets on Day 6. Its cumulative overseas gross collection has now reached Rs 46 crore.The movie’s worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 135.49 crore.The Tamil version earned Rs 2.50 crore. The Tamil version of ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ registered an overall occupancy of 20.12% on Day 6. Morning shows recorded 15.23% occupancy. Afternoon shows reached 20%.Evening shows recorded 20.92% occupancy. Night shows registered the highest figure for the Tamil version at 24.31%.The Telugu version posted stronger occupancy figures. It recorded an overall occupancy of 27.99%. Morning shows registered 15.25% occupancy. Afternoon shows reached 24.33%.The occupancy improved further during the evening. Evening shows recorded 27.17%. The state-wise gross collection also contributed to the film’s Day 6 total. The Andhra Pradesh-Telangana region recorded Rs 2.50 crore. Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 2.15 crore.Karnataka added Rs 65 lakh to the movie’s gross earnings. Kerala contributed Rs 50 lakh. The rest of India added Rs 9 lakh. The total state-wise gross collection for Day 6 stood at Rs 5.89 crore.

Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ has continued its theatrical run. The movie has collected Rs 197.26 crore in India net over 28 days.Its India gross collection stands at Rs 229.71 crore. The overseas gross has reached Rs 93.50 crore.
