The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the NEET PG 2026 examination on August 30 in a single shift. While the examination was held as scheduled across most centres, candidates at the Sikarpura centre faced an unexpected disruption after a power outage prevented the test from being conducted. As a result, 2,445 candidates from the centre will have to appear for a re-examination on September 5 at 3 pm. The NEET answer key is expected to be released on the second week of September.With the examination now over for the majority of candidates, attention has shifted to the NEET PG 2026 result, answer key, response sheets and scorecards. Although NBEMS has not announced an official release date for these documents, last year’s timeline provides an indication of when candidates may receive them.

NEET PG result 2026: Steps to download scorecards

Candidates can follow the steps elucidated here to download the NEET PG 2026 result:

  • Go to the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in.
  • On the homepage, look for the NEET PG 2026 section or the result link.
  • Click on the “NEET PG 2026 Result” link.
  • Enter the required login credentials, such as the application number/user ID and password or date of birth, as requested.
  • Submit the details to access the result.
  • The NEET PG 2026 result/scorecard will appear on the screen.
  • Check details such as your name, marks, percentile, All India Rank and qualifying status carefully.
  • Download the result and save a copy for future reference.
  • Candidates are advised to take a printout of the scorecard for use during the counselling and admission process.
