Pakistan dropped to the bottom of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 standings after an 90-run defeat to the West Indies in the opening Test at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. Justin Greaves starred with the ball, claiming a five-wicket haul.The hosts then recovered from 93/7 in the second innings thanks to a crucial 61-run stand between Kemar Roach and Shamar Joseph, setting Pakistan a target of 211.Pakistan’s batting collapsed under pressure as they were bowled out for just 120. Babar Azam remained unbeaten on 58 but found little support from the rest of the batting order. Jayden Seales starred with the ball, taking 5/20, while Greaves and Roach picked up two wickets each to seal a memorable victory for the West Indies.
