The final puja begins with fresh offerings and cleaning of the worship area.Light a diya and offer flowers, durva grass, fruits, and sweets to Lord Ganesh. Serve Modak or laddoo as bhog.Do the final aarti and thank Bappa for coming to Ganeshotsav. Family members can pray for removal of obstacles, wisdom and peace.Traditionally, devotees ask for forgiveness for any transgressions that may have occurred during worship before moving the idol.
